Best of the Best 2020

Each year for the past 25 years the Citrus County Chronicle has hosted the Best of the Best contest. This year they added a new section named 'People in Your Community". Citrus county community members and readers of the Chronicle voted and we are pleased to have been chosen for Honorable Mention this year. ABOUT US

Founded in 1999, Citrus County Harvest, Inc. started a Food Recovery program called Harvest. Each day, local restaurants donate remaining food at the end of the day. Our volunteers transport the perishables immediately to food pantries and meal services serving those in need. Two other programs, Blessings and Feed the Kids, provide low-income children meals during weekends within the school year and during the summer when out of school. Learn More
